One Blue Book at a Time

Since syndicating its first commercial property purchase in 2004 and working out of a tiny shared office in Victoria, BC, LEAGUE’s IGW REIT has become one of the fastest growing private Real Estate Investment Trusts in North America. This has largely been accomplished through LEAGUE’s fervent commitment to educating its Member-Partners. By offering free copies of The Blue Book of Real Estate Syndication, the company ensured that every potential Member-Partner could make fully informed decisions before participating in any LEAGUE investment—without having to rely on the advice of salespeople, brokers, or advisors.

LEAGUE currently is managing some $920 million in real estate assets, and is responsible for the financing of what are estimated to become $2 billion in assets on behalf of the families of more than 2,500 Member-Partners. This growth, and the exceptional performance of LEAGUE's investments, is directly attributable to the values LEAGUE espouses in its corporate Credo, and the relationship we’ve built with our Member-Partners through constant two-way communication. The company’s stated purpose is the betterment of society through the proliferation of Intergenerational Wealth, the company’s trademarked term for LEAGUE’s philosophy and services related to producing, protecting, and perpetuating its Member-Partners’ wealth of capital, values, and traditions across generations.

To ensure that LEAGUE’s daily operations will be guided by the same ideals in perpetuity, every aspect of the company is directed by its Credo: a 22-point declaration of LEAGUE’s core values and operating principles. They are visually represented in the symbols incorporated in its Coat of Arms, which in 2007 was granted by the Heraldic Authority of Canada under the auspices of the Governor General. These core principles and beliefs are embedded in every decision we make, and every action we take. It reminds us why we’re here, what we’re here to do, and how we will do it.
